Description

Skill Level: Confident Beginner. Video clips are included for several steps.

Recommended Fabric Types: This versatile pattern can be made in both woven and knit fabrics – the possibilities and combinations are endless! The small bib pieces are great for scrap busting and upcycling.

Design Features & Options:

6 skirt options (two tier, three tier, gathered skirt in mini or knee length, mini length straight skirt, mullet skirt with straight front and layered back)
Faux OR functional plackets
Optional side elastic in the waistband (required for woven fabrics with faux plackets)
Optional bib pocket
Optional belt loops

Tutorial Features:

Imperial and metric measurements throughout the tutorial
Size chart and finished measurements chart (VIEW SIZE CHART) - NOTE, although this patterns only goes up to 12 youth, it is super easy to add more width since the waistband and skirt pieces are all rectangles, so there are instructions provided for alterations to any waist size within the height limit of size 12.
Fabric requirements chart (VIEW CHARTS FOR 45" WIDE FABRIC OR 60" WIDE FABRIC)
Detailed printing instructions
Detailed pattern assembly instructions
Size blending instructions, for those whose chest and height fall into different sizes
Cut chart for rectangular pieces (pattern pieces also provided)
Detailed sewing instructions with illustrations

Pattern File Features:

Size layers – choose which sizes to print and save your ink
Prints on both letter and A4 sized paper
Pages can be assembled either by trimming your pages, or overlapping them (trimless method)
All important info provided on pattern pieces for easy reference (seam allowance, grain line, size labels, cutting instructions, pattern name, top and bottom for directional prints, etc.)
Optional band/trim rectangular pieces to print (cut dimensions also provided in tutorial)
An A0 file is provided for those who prefer to print at a copy shop on blueprint sized paper, with no page assembly required
A projector file is provided, for those who are set up with a projector calibrated for use in pattern tracing or cutting

I really love this pattern, it’s so versatile! The instructions are very clear and detailed and the dress came together very easily. It’s my daughters favorite dress and I can’t wait to make another. Perfect fit!
