Hi! My name is Adrienne - I am a mom and pattern designer. I started drafting when my kids were little, and many of these Snuggly Solutions patterns were created specifically to solve problems we were experiencing.
In particular, the sleep sacks were designed for my daughter, who had a love for sleep sacks but a quirky penchant for shoving her sippy cup and stuffies inside the sleep sack, then stripping it off to get them out. This led to many nights being woken up by a cold little girl who was much better at taking her sleep sack off than figuring out how to get it back on!
The Stellar Sleep Sack was my first solution and it worked for quite a while, until she got strong enough to undo the shoulder snaps. My next invention was the Stylin' Snuggler, with the special "Houdini Proof" zipper installation on the back - she never managed to get out of that one, but finally started using blankets not long after, so we were able to retire the sleep sacks when she potty trained.
