Sugar Pea Dress – Dolls
This listing is for a PDF sewing pattern, not a finished item. Purchasers are welcome to sell their finished products. Please do not sell or distribute this pattern, purchase is for one copy only*
The Sugar Pea is an adorable doll-sized dress, with long sleeve, short sleeve, or sleeveless options. It has a back closure that can be done with hook and loop tape (3/4″ wide), snap tape, or individual snaps (I recommend Kamsnaps, size 16).
It comes in 2 size groups:
13-18″ Dolls (Regular sizes)
18” – designed for American Girl, but will fit many similar dolls.
15” – designed for Bitty Baby dolls, but will fit similar dolls with sloped arms.
13” and 16” Cabbage Patch sizes—these sizes may fit some similar soft dolls with arms that stick straight out at the sides.
11-16″ Dolls (Mini Sizes)
XS through L with varied height options. These sizes are made for slim dolls with chest circumference of 6-9.5″, such as Wellie Wisher, Minikane, Baby Alive, and more!
There is also a matching children’s Sugar Pea Tunic & Dress pattern, available at www.gooberpeadesigns.com/shop/sugarpea.
This pattern comes with LAYERS, so you can print only the sizes you need. It prints on both letter and A4 size paper, and can be assembled either by trimming the pages, or by overlapping the pages (trimless assembly).
A projector file can be made upon request.
Any jersey knit fabric with at least 50% stretch and excellent stretch recovery will work for this dress bodice. The skirts can be made with woven fabrics as well.
PLEASE NOTE: Prices are in Canadian dollars – they will be converted to your local currency during the checkout process.
